IT Operations Manager

Job Summary

Acting as the execution engine for enterprise technology, the full-time remote IT Operations Manager will manage day-to-day IT operations, coordinate technology initiatives, and ensure alignment with business priorities while serving as the primary execution partner to the Fractional CTO.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technology strategy by translating roadmaps into actionable workplans and tracking progress across initiatives
• Own day-to-day coordination of IT initiatives, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes
• Manage IT vendor relationships, defining clear direction and enforcing service accountability through SLAs

Required qualifications

• Strong IT operations or systems management background
• Experience managing MSPs, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, SOC)
• Highly organized with strong program management and execution discipline
• Comfortable operating in environments with multiple systems (Microsoft, Wrike, BI tools, etc.)
