IT Operations Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Operations Technician to provide Tier 1 support in a 24x7 enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor IBM I-Series and Z-Series production environments and respond to system messages
• Process batch cycles and execute batch restarts according to established procedures
• Ensure successful routing of client data file transmissions in various platforms

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of experience with JCL and IBM Mainframe consoles
• Experience with ITIL ticket systems, BMC Remedy, and/or ServiceNow
• Experience in IT support-oriented environments with established SLAs
• Associate's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
