Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the IT PMO Portfolio Manager will oversee the IT project governance process, implementing and maturing portfolio management practices while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational strategies and goals.

Key responsibilities
  • Facilitate the IT governance process and optimize the IT project portfolio for maximum value delivery
  • Report on key performance indicators of the project portfolio to identify performance issues and maintain alignment with strategic goals
  • Directly supervise IT PMO staff and support continuous improvement of project portfolio governance processes
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience, with 10 years of related experience; Master's degree desired
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in project/portfolio resource planning and budgeting
  • Experience leading IT projects and programs, including those involving external stakeholders
  • Certification as a Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of project and portfolio management best practices, with experience in governance and reporting
