IT Portfolio Manager, Florida

Job Summary

Overseeing and administering critical clinical application programs, the full-time IT Portfolio Manager, Health Applications will manage project portfolios, assess and document potential projects, and collaborate with IT leadership to align initiatives with strategic goals in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and implements best practices for effective portfolio/project management and educates staff on project execution
• Manages the lifecycle of cross-departmental initiatives, balancing capacity against demand and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals
• Conducts resource planning, budgeting, and continuous monitoring of the Health Applications portfolio health

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, health informatics, computer science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 7 years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management, particularly in clinical application implementations
• Experience with Epic applications or Epic EMR certification preferred
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
