IT Procurement Buyer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Procurement Buyer to support procurement activities related to IT spend categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate contracts and proposals, supporting negotiations and promoting cost-saving initiatives
• Manage mid-level IT suppliers and Value-Added Resellers while developing reporting to track procurement statistics
• Assist in processing procurement requests and maintain records of products and services acquired

Required Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of applicable experience in procurement or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
• Experience with IT spend categories such as SAAS, PAAS, and Telecom
• Familiarity with procurement processes and ERP systems
• Ability to analyze industry prices and trends
