IT Procurement Manager

Job Summary

Experienced IT Category Managers will find a full-time remote opportunity focused on strategically managing and optimizing IT procurement spend by developing category strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and driving cost savings while ensuring high-quality IT products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies for IT sub-categories, including software, hardware, telecommunications, and IT services
• Lead the sourcing process, including market research, supplier identification, RFP development, bid analysis, and contract negotiation
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business needs

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in IT procurement or category management
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings
• Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance
• Experience in developing and managing supplier relationships
• Understanding of IT products and services, including software and hardware
