IT Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Procurement and Contracting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Solicits, awards, and manages various IT contracts, including software licensing and cloud services
• Collaborates with staff to develop procurement standards and provides guidance on contract processes
• Prepares and issues Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and analyzes price proposals for procurement decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 24 semester hours in relevant fields such as business or finance
• Three to five years of IT public purchasing experience
• FAC-C Professional certification or equivalent required within 24 months of hire
• Knowledge of technology compliance requirements and effective government purchasing principles
• Ability to negotiate contract terms addressing business needs and compliance requirements
