IT Program Manager

Job Summary

Experienced IT Program Managers will find a contract opportunity in Tallahassee, Florida, where they will manage multiple related projects, ensuring alignment with departmental goals, measuring benefits realization, and facilitating stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee high-level coordination of projects to achieve organizational objectives and ensure strategic alignment
• Develop and maintain program governance frameworks, including stakeholder engagement matrices and cross-project dependency maps
• Generate project artifacts and reports, including benefits management plans and status updates for the Contract Manager

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including 3 years in a leadership role and 5 years managing an IT program area
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related fields, or equivalent work experience
• Project Management certification is required
• Expertise in technical writing and documentation, along with document version control
• Experience with Florida State Agency IT Projects and legislative reporting practices
