IT Project Engineer

Job Summary

To support onboarding projects for hedge funds and investment firms, the full-time salaried IT Project Engineer will implement secure client environments, manage end-to-end onboarding processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Implement secure and compliant client environments in accordance with industry standards and best practices
• Support onboarding projects from discovery through cutover, acting as the primary implementation engineer
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation for audits and compliance assessments

Required qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of professional IT experience, preferably in Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, or Systems Administration
• Experience in an MSP or multi-tenant environment, ideally in regulated industries such as financial services
• Hands-on project and implementation experience, particularly in onboarding or migration projects
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and cloud platform experience
• Networking and security experience with enterprise equipment such as firewalls and switches
