IT Project Manager Scrum Master

Job Summary

To support a client in a remote environment during EST hours, the contract IT Project Manager Scrum Master will manage hands-on release coordination, ensuring consistent planning, tracking, and execution of software releases while reducing administrative burdens for engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrated release calendar, actively coordinating across teams to drive releases forward
• Ensure every release has a defined plan with clear tasks, owners, and timelines, maintaining release tracking artifacts
• Establish and enforce standard readiness checkpoints and validate readiness across engineering, testing, and operations

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in an IT environment
• Strong knowledge of release management processes and tools, including JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with coordinating cross-team efforts and managing dependencies and risks
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, collaborating with diverse teams
• Familiarity with AI tools for monitoring readiness and improving release predictability
