IT Python and AI Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Python and AI Programmer (Expert) to support the USPS CIO Architecture, Strategy & Innovation group.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data science tasks including data acquisition, cleaning, and feature extraction
• Develop proof-of-concepts (PoC) and create technical documentation for implementations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement AI/ML solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in building and deploying Python applications for IT operations
• Experience with data acquisition, cleaning, and transformation using Python
• Familiarity with deploying applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of data science best practices and ethical guidelines in data handling
