IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Security Analyst II to join their Security Operations Center (SOC) team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
• Respond to and investigate reported incidents, suspicious activities, and security alerts
• Continuously analyze and improve security systems to enhance threat detection and response capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven work experience in IT security, preferably in a SOC environment
• Strong knowledge of information security and networking concepts
• Hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISA+, CEH, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+, or similar
