IT Security Analyst

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive, the part-time IT Security Analyst will support IT security and compliance efforts by maintaining HITRUST, HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliance, managing internal IT support tasks, and collaborating closely with the CTO in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support maintenance of HITRUST, HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliance tasks under CTO guidance
• Execute employee onboarding and offboarding checklists, managing access controls and device setup
• Conduct annual risk assessments and monitor security practices, driving mitigation efforts

Required qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT support, security, compliance, or a related role
• Solid understanding of HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 frameworks
• Experience with audits, security assessments, or vendor risk programs
• Experience managing access controls, SaaS tools, or device setup/offboarding
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
