IT Security Analyst II

Job Summary

Managing information systems security, the full-time IT Security Analyst II will protect data from unauthorized access, conduct audits, and support compliance assessments in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate security measures to safeguard information systems and data integrity
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards, reporting on audit status and findings
• Manage security tools and systems, including EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management, while monitoring security logs and incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of experience in IT or a related technical position
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, HITRUST, and HIPAA
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) and data loss prevention (DLP) tools
• Knowledge of audits including SOC, HITRUST, and related compliance assessments
