IT Security and Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting IT security and compliance efforts on a part-time basis, the IT Security and Compliance Analyst will work closely with the CTO to maintain compliance with HITRUST, HIPAA, and SOC 2 while managing internal IT support tasks in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support maintenance of compliance tasks for HITRUST, HIPAA, and SOC 2 under CTO guidance
• Execute employee onboarding and offboarding checklists, managing access controls and device setup
• Conduct annual risk assessments and assist with third-party audits and security documentation

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in IT support, security, compliance, or a related role
• Experience with SOC 2 and HITRUST audits
• Familiarity with audits, security assessments, or vendor risk programs
• Experience managing access controls and SaaS tools
• Self-starter with strong time management skills in fast-paced environments
