IT Security and SOX Specialist

Job Summary

Leading the design and execution of the IT General Controls (ITGC) program for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, the full-time remote IT Security and SOX Specialist will manage control testing, risk assessments, and audit readiness while collaborating with technology stakeholders to enhance security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the ITGC program to ensure SOX compliance, including control testing and deficiency evaluation
• Coordinate ITGC risk assessments and document control activities across access management and IT operations
• Serve as the primary liaison with Internal Audit and external auditors, ensuring timely and audit-ready deliverables

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security, IT audit, compliance, or risk management
• 3+ years of experience managing SOX ITGC compliance programs
• Strong understanding of SOX ITGC controls and risk management frameworks
• Experience working with internal and external auditors
