IT Security Director

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise security program in a full-time remote capacity, the IT Security Director will manage governance, risk, compliance, and security operations while developing strategies to protect company systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise IT security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory obligations
• Oversee day-to-day security operations, including incident response and vulnerability management
• Lead security governance processes and coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience leading enterprise security programs and incident response initiatives
• Strong knowledge of security domains including network security, identity and access management, and cloud security
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC preferred
