IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the IT Security team in a full-time capacity, the IT Security Engineer will assist with governance, risk, compliance, and data protection initiatives while ensuring adherence to security objectives and regulatory requirements, with the flexibility for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining enterprise security documents and support the ISO 27001 Certification program
• Participate in client audits and third-party supplier security assessments, gathering information and preparing responses
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to implement data protection strategies and monitor security measures

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in network security tools or information security support roles
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy concepts
• Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certifications preferred
• Basic understanding of Access Control Management and encryption concepts
