IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the IT Security team, the full-time IT Security Engineer will assist in governance, risk, compliance, and data protection initiatives while working remotely or from any U.S. office.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining enterprise security documents and support the ISO 27001 Certification program
• Participate in client audits and third-party supplier security assessments, gathering information and preparing responses
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to implement data protection strategies and monitor security solutions

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in network security tools or information security support roles
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy concepts
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certifications preferred
• Basic understanding of Access Control Management and encryption concepts
