IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer, this full-time position will manage internal system security, monitor and triage issues across SaaS and cloud environments, and oversee compliance initiatives while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security signals and triage issues through various tools, escalating when necessary
• Administer and enforce the organization's vulnerability scanning program, tracking findings to resolution
• Maintain identity and access hygiene across systems, managing SSO, provisioning, and MFA policies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in IT, security, or a related technical field, along with a relevant degree or equivalent training
• Active security certifications such as SANS/GIAC (e.g., GSEC, GCIH, GCIA) or equivalent
• Foundational knowledge of IT administration and security operations
• Experience with Unix/Linux command-line environments and version control (git)
• Ability to administer cloud and SaaS platforms, including identity and access management
