IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely from any EST or CST US-based location, the full-time IT Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security tools and technologies while providing operational support and consulting on information security best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Utilizing software and hardware tools to diagnose and resolve issues affecting information security systems
• Participating in projects to develop and implement security solutions that protect information assets
• Conducting research on emerging technologies to support enterprise operations and ensure compliance with security standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related technical discipline
• Exposure to Certificate Management, Cloud Application security tools, and endpoint security tools
• Strong networking experience
• At least one relevant cybersecurity or IT certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent)
