IT Security Engineer, GRC Support

Job Summary

Supporting the IT Security team, the full-time IT Security Engineer, GRC Support will assist in maintaining security objectives, regulatory compliance, and data protection initiatives, with the flexibility to work remotely from any U.S. location.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining enterprise security documents and support the ISO 27001 Certification program
• Participate in client audits and third-party supplier security assessments, gathering information and preparing responses
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to implement data protection strategies and monitor compliance measures

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in network security tools or an information security support role
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy concepts
• Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certifications preferred
• Basic understanding of Access Control Management and encryption concepts
