IT Security Engineer II

Job Summary

Focusing on the security of business operations and client information, the full-time IT Security Engineer II will investigate security incidents, assess security alerts, and help develop security protocols, with the flexibility to work remotely from any U.S. location.

Key responsibilities

• Assess security alerts and investigate security incidents while escalating high-risk findings
• Configure and troubleshoot intrusion detection tools and assist in deploying new security solutions
• Document IT security processes and participate in vulnerability assessments and security audits

Required qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in IT security
• Knowledge of endpoint security, cloud security, and networking protocols
• Experience with data analysis tools for incident investigation and reporting
• Associate or bachelor's degree in technology or cybersecurity is a plus
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CCNA are a plus
