IT Security Engineer IV

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer IV for a part-time remote contract role, responsible for leading incident response efforts, performing forensic analysis, and developing incident response playbooks within the Security Operations Center.

Key responsibilities

• Lead critical security incidents by coordinating communications and executing the Incident Response Plan
• Conduct comprehensive forensic analysis to determine the root cause and impact of security incidents
• Develop and improve incident response playbooks in collaboration with SOC team members

Required qualifications

• Significant experience in incident response and digital forensics
• Strong understanding of attacker methodologies and modern security platforms
• Relevant education or training in cybersecurity or related fields is a plus
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and cloud forensic analysis tools
• Ability to collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams on response workflows
