IT Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on IT Security Engineering Manager to lead a remote team in securing a global enterprise using Zscaler's security products, while driving internal security initiatives and maintaining technical expertise in Zero Trust deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of IT Security Engineers, actively participating in technical reviews and deployment projects
• Drive Customer Zero initiatives by deploying internal security platforms and coordinating feedback with product and engineering teams
• Manage cross-functional security projects from inception to execution, ensuring seamless integration across various IT domains

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT security engineering or a related field, including 2+ years managing technical teams
• Experience with Zero Trust solutions and technologies, including identity verification and network segmentation
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and security challenges, along with fundamentals in operating systems and networking
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and technology rollouts across large organizations
• U.S. citizenship required due to customer compliance requirements
