IT & Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a small team of IT specialists and security analysts, the full-time remote Engineering Manager, IT & Security will manage internal IT, security, and compliance processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization's security posture and streamline operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of IT and Security professionals to improve processes and career development
• Guide the team through compliance audit requirements and handle security incident management
• Develop and implement essential security projects while defining best practices for security

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in Security and IT, including at least 1 year in a management role
• Prior experience in building technical security guidelines and processes across teams
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, standards, and frameworks
• Experience managing audits and certifications, such as ISO 27001:2022 and SOC2, is preferred
