IT Security Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Security Manager responsible for overseeing information security, compliance, and risk management functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage certification frameworks, including CMMC, NIST, and SOC 2, and ensure compliance with security policies
• Develop IT security standards and maintain security policies while evaluating risks and implementing controls
• Conduct vendor security assessments and coordinate security technology development requests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5-8 years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity
• Experience managing IT security functions in a fully remote environment preferred
• Hands-on experience with CMMC, NIST, and/or SOC 2 compliance
• Knowledge of risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response support
• Ability to communicate security risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
