IT Security Manager

Job Summary

The full-time IT Security Manager will develop, implement, and manage the organization's information security strategy and policies while ensuring compliance and coordinating incident response, all in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain information security policies, conduct risk assessments, and implement cybersecurity frameworks
• Manage operational security, including endpoint, network, and cloud security, while overseeing incident response and disaster recovery plans
• Lead a team of security professionals and collaborate with various departments to ensure unified risk management and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in IT security or related roles, with at least 1 year in a management position
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, SIEM, cloud security (Azure, AWS), and identity access management systems
• Experience implementing or auditing against security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or CIS
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
