IT Security Senior Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote IT Security Senior Engineer who will provide security for networks, cloud deployments, data centers, and software systems while monitoring and mitigating attempted attacks or breaches.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain various security-related platforms, including SIEM systems and vulnerability management systems
• Respond to alerts and user tickets while documenting configurations and processes for security systems
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders on cybersecurity projects and propose new protective measures against emerging threats

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Information Security or a related field
• Industry-standard certifications in Information Security or Digital Forensics preferred
• Strong understanding of attacker tools, techniques, and methodologies
• Ability to manage complex issues and develop effective solutions
