IT Security Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Security Specialist focused on application and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead application security efforts, including SAST, DAST, and manual source code reviews
• Design and manage enterprise-wide Application Security programs and integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Support operational implementation of FISMA, NIST, and OMB cybersecurity requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in application security and secure SDLC
• Strong knowledge of FISMA, NIST frameworks, and federal cybersecurity regulations
• Hands-on experience with SAST and DAST tools and secure coding best practices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or C#
