IT Security Systems Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an IT Security and Systems Engineer to ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of its IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure, ensuring systems operate with necessary updates and security fixes
- Develop and implement security standards and policies for compliance with SOC2 and other regulations
- Support the sales team by completing technical RFP responses and security documentation for customer engagements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems management and technical support
- Strong knowledge of network security, operating system security, and endpoint management
- Experience with Apple/macOS device management and JAMF administration
- Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus applications
