IT Sourcing Category Manager

Job Summary

To support a critical post-acquisition integration effort, the remote contract IT Sourcing Category Manager will manage the review, negotiation, and transition of IT contracts inherited from Baker Hughes, focusing on supplier management and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing IT and vendor contracts inherited from the Baker Hughes environment
• Lead the renegotiation and transition of contracts into the new legal, financial, and operational framework
• Engage with stakeholders to align on contract priorities and negotiation strategies while managing supplier communications

Required Qualifications

• 7+ to 10+ years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, or category management
• Strong experience in reviewing, redlining, and negotiating vendor contracts and service agreements
• Proven ability to lead vendor negotiations focused on pricing, terms, and risk mitigation
• Experience working in post-acquisition, carve-out, or integration environments
• Strong understanding of contract structures and vendor management practices
