IT SOX Manager

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced IT SOX Manager for a freelance position in San Francisco, CA, who will execute and support the Company's global SOX Compliance Program, focusing on assessing internal controls over financial reporting and managing technology risks in a B2B SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ITGCs and ITACs process documentation, testing, and identifying control gaps
• Document detailed work papers and evaluate control deficiencies, developing remediation plans
• Partner with stakeholders to support IT SOX activities and manage multiple tasks effectively

Required qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience as an IT auditor with a public accounting firm or public company
• Strong understanding of IT SOX compliance and relevant frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST)
• Experience with complex IT systems and architecture in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Big 4 or management consulting experience and relevant certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA) preferred
