IT Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote IT Specialist will design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications using Agile and SAFe methodologies
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices to ensure application security and compliance
• Troubleshoot application defects and performance issues while supporting application modernization efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Five or more years of experience in administering enterprise Windows server infrastructure and supporting IT operations
• Proficiency in developing enterprise web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies throughout the software development lifecycle
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding practices using modern DevSecOps tools
