IT Support Specialist

Job Summary

Providing first-level technical support remotely, the full-time IT Support Specialist will assist staff and faculty at Webster City School through phone and email, focusing on First Call Resolution while managing endpoint deployment and hardware repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by responding to incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally
• Log incidents and service requests in the ticketing system and provide installation and operational training for supported systems
• Repair and replace hardware components in computers and AV equipment while maintaining inventory records

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience in providing technical support in an educational or similar environment
• Proficiency in installing and repairing computers, peripherals, and AV technology
• Familiarity with ticketing systems for logging incidents and requests
• Ability to perform physical inventory checks and maintain an organized technology warehouse
