Job Summary
Providing direct service support to users, the full-time remote IT Support Specialist will manage end user requests, resolve hardware and software issues, and participate in IT-related projects while maintaining computer networks and assisting with application support.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain computer networks and provide user support to resolve software and hardware issues
- Contribute to hardware and software specifications while performing application testing and documentation
- Follow standard Help Desk procedures, accurately logging all contacts and service requests
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Information Technology
- 5 years of experience may substitute for degree or certificate
- Microsoft certifications preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare systems operations such as EMR is a plus
