Job Summary

Providing technical support and maintenance for desktop software and hardware, the full-time IT Support Technician will install and troubleshoot equipment while managing the IT Support ticketing system in a primarily onsite environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Install and test hardware and software, and monitor maintenance records
  • Respond to user problems through the IT Support ticketing system, identifying and resolving hardware/software issues
  • Manage VoIP systems and provide technical support to end users
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; AAS or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in helpdesk and/or desktop support, particularly for remote users
  • CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of computer workstations, peripheral equipment, and relevant software
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
