IT System Administrator

Job Summary

To support a fast-moving team in a remote environment, the IT System Administrator will manage and maintain cloud infrastructures across AWS and Microsoft Azure, oversee Microsoft 365 services, and ensure compliance with security standards as a 1099 independent contractor with full-time hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Administer, monitor, and maintain workloads across AWS and Microsoft Azure, including resource provisioning and security configurations
• Manage the Microsoft 365 tenant, including user lifecycle management and collaboration platform configuration
• Perform routine system administration and support, addressing escalated infrastructure and end-user issues

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on IT system administration experience
• Strong expertise administering AWS environments
• Practical cloud administration experience across both AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft 365 administration expertise, including Entra ID and Exchange Online
• Basic scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks
