IT System Quality Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure reliable and secure technology solutions, the full-time IT System Quality Engineer II will partner with project teams to incorporate quality from planning through implementation, identify risks, and evaluate system performance, all while working remotely from a home office in Arizona.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to integrate quality assurance into technology solutions throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend testing strategies to enhance system reliability
• Evaluate system performance and quality metrics to support informed decision-making and present findings to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with five years of QA or information systems audit experience
• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and risk-based testing
• Intermediate knowledge of software/system development and maintenance lifecycles
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent certification
• Strong technical knowledge within a relevant business domain or system
