IT Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the IT Systems Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for technology teams and vendors, participating in server systems administration, monitoring alerts, and managing incidents and changes during the hours of 10 PM to 8:30 AM ET, Monday through Thursday.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with technology support partners and advocate for business client-facing teams on support issues
• Monitor alerts and ensure service level event acknowledgments are met while escalating issues as appropriate
• Provide operational oversight for server operations and coordinate training for new and junior staff members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience with incident and change management processes
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, specifically MoogSoft
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technology partners and support teams
• Experience in a 24/7 operational environment is preferred
