Job Summary
Supporting the Department for Children and Families and the Department of Vermont Health Access, the full-time IT Systems Developer will consult with users to design software solutions, conduct systems analysis and maintenance, and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, with some remote work available.
Key responsibilities
- Consult with users to identify operating procedures and elicit business requirements for software design
- Perform systems analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software applications
- Provide system support and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in computer science or equivalent coursework with 15 computer science credits
- Two or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming, or database administration
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of software development platforms and programming languages
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and establish effective working relationships
