IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented IT Systems Engineer, this full-time position will focus on maintaining infrastructure components, improving internal automation tools, and resolving user-reported issues while working primarily with the Internal IT team in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Internal IT team on new initiatives and projects, dedicating 75% of time to these efforts
• Maintain and support Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and deploy Virtual Machines (VMs)
• Evaluate and implement AI tools to enhance workflows and create automation scripts using programming languages such as Python and Bash

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer, System Administrator, or in a similar IT Support role
• Proficiency in maintaining VDI and deploying VMs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS administration (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion)
• Experience in technical quality assurance and documentation skills using tools like Notion
