IT Systems Operations Engineer
Job Summary
Building an ITSM practice from the ground up, the full-time IT Systems Operations Engineer will design and configure processes within Freshservice, integrate monitoring tools, and collaborate with various IT teams to enhance operational efficiency in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design and configure ITOM alerting, incident prioritization rules, and response processes within Freshservice
- Build integrations between monitoring tools and Freshservice to automate incident creation and prioritization
- Lead the development of Asset Management and CMDB capabilities, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on ITSM platform administration experience with platforms like Freshservice or ServiceNow
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in building Asset Management and CMDB practices, including CI schema design
- Experience implementing Change Management and Release Management processes aligned to ITIL frameworks
- Working knowledge of REST APIs and integration methodologies
