IT Technologist

Job Summary

Providing responsive technology support, the full-time IT Technologist will manage device setup, procurement coordination, inventory management, and event technology support while working primarily onsite in Knoxville, TN, with the option to work remotely two days a week after training.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technology support and procurement processes for SWORPS staff and operations
• Manage device setup, inventory management, and documentation for technology resources
• Provide event technology support and assist in technology-enabled process improvements

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or two additional years of combined education, training, and/or experience in relevant areas
• Two years of experience in a technology support or related technical environment
• Knowledge of Windows and Mac hardware, operating systems, and software installation
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities while following issues through to resolution
• Experience providing technology support to end users with varying levels of technical knowledge
