Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Italian Interpreter will handle video-phone interpreting sessions, facilitating communication between Italian and English speakers across various industries including healthcare and government.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to video and audio interpreting sessions, ensuring professional and accurate interpretation
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance interpreting skills and maintain industry standards
• Adhere to established protocols while delivering interpretation services, ensuring cultural sensitivity and neutrality

Required qualifications

• Fluency in Italian and English with an understanding of cultural dynamics
• Education or work experience in language-related fields such as teaching, translation, or interpretation preferred
• Excellent listening and retention skills to ensure high accuracy during interpretation
• Ability to handle sensitive subjects and remain neutral in emotionally charged conversations
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
