Job Summary

Seeking experienced Machine Translation Post-Editors with Italian, this freelance remote position will involve performing light and full post-editing on machine translation outputs to ensure quality and accuracy in accordance with client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure target text accurately reflects the meaning of the source and meets client expectations
• Provide corrections and text optimization based on machine translation outputs
• Perform linguistic tasks according to project instructions, including adherence to style guides and terminology

Required qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• Native speaker of Italian with excellent command of English
• Experience in Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) and familiarity with translation memory tools
• Technical expertise in IT and software, particularly in software UI and product documentation translation
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage changing project priorities
