Item Writer II ELA

Job Summary

Joining the ELA team, the full-time remote Item Writer II ELA will develop high-quality standardized assessments focused on Reading and Literacy, creating original passages and assessment items while managing content through review processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original reading passages and assessment items aligned to project and client specifications
• Manage developed content through internal review processes, incorporating feedback from reviewers and subject matter experts
• Collaborate with team members during content development and review meetings to ensure quality and alignment with academic standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English Education, English, Literacy, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field
• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in education, curriculum development, or assessment development
• Demonstrated ability to create high-quality educational content
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
