IV&V Consultant - Kansas Licensed

Job Summary

Serving as an independent validator, the remote IV&V Project Oversight Consultant will monitor project progress, conduct risk assessments, and deliver objective monthly assessments to stakeholders for a client in Topeka, KS.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and deliver monthly IV&V status reports to multiple stakeholders
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments related to project management, technology, and organizational readiness
• Monitor the design and development process to identify potential issues early and track budget and resource allocations

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated IV&V experience on large-scale state or government IT projects
• Familiarity with state project management methodologies
• Strong technical background to evaluate implementation decisions and development processes
• Ability to operate independently from the implementation contractor
• Experience delivering reports to executive-level stakeholders and oversight bodies
