Janitor

Job Summary

Maintaining assigned areas in a clean and organized condition, the full-time Janitor will perform routine cleaning tasks, including floor care, restroom sanitation, and waste removal during the 2nd shift from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM Central Time.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, walls, and furniture using various cleaning equipment and supplies
• Sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness in break rooms and common areas
• Report maintenance concerns and adhere to safety policies while completing assigned cleaning tasks efficiently

Required qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in an office or manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Demonstrates a positive and customer-service-oriented attitude when interacting with others
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and workplace safety
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs
