Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist/Assistant Manager, Payroll (Japan).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee payroll operations for Japan, including calculations, vendor coordination, and statutory reporting
  • Manage team escalations and ensure client satisfaction by providing solutions to issues
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain payroll accuracy in local systems


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Japanese payroll management
  • Proven experience in leading payroll operations in Japan
  • Preferable to have a Labor & Social Security Attorney license
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office systems and knowledge of payroll operations in other countries is advantageous
